Most people are aware of the term 'carbon footprint' as meaning how our actions affect our environment and Planet.
However, it is not just the planet that is effected it is ALL LIFE.
The choices we make to eat organic food, and use more natural and organic products, encourages those who produce the products to make better choices also.
We created this product line because in our search for more natural and organic products we found they could be very expensive and so we became committed to providing more natural products at a reasonable price.
This is our goal and we will proceed one step at a time.
Our products are free of SLS(sulfates), parabens, and artificial coloring.
No animal testing has been done.
They come unscented unless a fragrance is chosen.
There is much research about natural preservatives being done today. The FDA requires preservatives to prevent mold and bacteria from forming when a product contains or is exposed to water such as shower gel and shampoo. Some products without preservatives may need refrigeration which is not convenient and have a shorter shelf life. The current use of essential oils as preservatives has not been verified safe by the FDA. It has not been established that they actually do prevent mold in products exposed to water or water based.
Until we are assured of their safety , some of our products, especially those that are used in the shower, use low level preservatives for stability, compatibility, spoilage and safety. A listing of ingredients is given for each product. There are links to a product list or MSDS sheet for any ingredient that is a derivative.
We will update our products as we find better sources for more natural ingredients that assure us of their long term safety and will allow us to make them more affordable to All.
